Welcome

Ascent Prep is a premier, professional teaching academy that specializes in Math, Science, Computer Technology and Test Prep (GMAT, GRE, SAT, MCAT, AP) tutoring, available at a fraction of the rates that big generic test prep companies or ultra-expensive boutique tutoring agencies charge while offering an individually customized high standard program.  We offer specialized, top quality, dedicated, full-time professional tutoring services that are customized to each student’s individual academic needs.

Our founder and main senior tutor, Dr. Han Lee, is a friendly, patient, caring, and highly effective Columbia University Ph.D. with years of experience in teaching and high stakes test taking. We are results driven and know what it takes to consistently achieve high scores and gain deeper understanding in math & science subjects. Helping students reach their full potential and beyond in their academic and test taking endeavors is our top priority and ultimate goal. Our math, science, computer technology and test prep focused tutoring service is open to students at all levels, including high school & college students, as well as adult professionals.

We provide private one-on-one and small group tutoring to students in the greater New York City area.  Online tutoring (private one-on-one or small group) is available to students across the US.

We offer a money back guarantee and referral bonus, please check these out in our Rates section.

Contact me, Dr. Han Lee (Columbia Ph.D., M.Phil., M.A.), for immediate test prep, tutoring or professional training help.

“I have taught and currently tutor high school, college, and adult professional students in the Northern NJ and NYC areas. My innovative, scientific and systematic approach helps students form a natural and precise thinking process that reduces anxiety during exams and tests. This approach was developed from my own academic journey, which involved countless exams and tests that I myself had to take in order to graduate with an honors bachelor’s (summa cum laude) and 3 advanced Ivy League degrees over the years.” – Dr. Han Lee
